The Rock Leader is able to manage top-roped climbing sessions where a single-pitch top-rope climb can be set up using haul lines and regular checks of anchors are completed by the organisation managing the venue OR there is easy walking access to the top-rope anchors; there are fixed anchors (such as bolts, chains, bollards, warratahs) or trees or threads that have been inspected in accordance with organisational requirements; The rock leader must have visited the site previously and had their set-up approved by a Rock Instructor or similarly qualified technical advisor; Personal safety for the Rock Leader can be managed simply using fixed anchors, trees or threads.
