Scope of qualification
Must be supervised in an aquatics facility by a fully qualified Pool Lifeguard holding Pool Lifeguard Practicing Certificate (PLPC), while practical pool-side experience is gained.
Re-registration criteria
18 months
This award is not able to be renewed beyond its 18 month life. If the candidate does not enter employment at a pool and progress to achieve Pool Lifeguard Practicing Certificate (PLPC), it expires and must be assessed again.
